The midday sun fixated its gaze on the Silithus sands witnessing the amount of forming ranks outside of the Scarab Wall. It felt as though the orb was projecting endless prolonged high temperatures before armies finally collapsed from exposure. A lone night elf stood quietly amid the restless formations. With reverence her companion kept her eye affixed towards the night elf. There was others gathered from many races and lands, and she or he did face racial prejudice from many of these. It must be no real surprise because the blood feuds between the night elves as well as the tauren and trolls could possibly be traced back centuries. But regardless all who had arrived that day for battle, shared their respect of the night elf….
Shiromar remained determined, unwavering, impassive, and unflinching. These characteristics had served her well, even more so in recent months. The bronze dragon, the Broodlord, the watcher, the Caverns of Time - none of the were planning to easily stop trying their charge. That placed on the ancient dragons, the shards as well as their keeps, and also the squirming insect hives, as well. The War from the Shifting Sands dragged on for very long, unbearable months. Shiromar survived one battle to another, however the night elves never let their guard town, always about the defensive, and constantly outnumbered……
Fast forward…. The final push towards the city had begun, due to the aid of some dragon flights. As Fandral marched ahead Shiromar marched directly behind, with the winged Oiraji corpses falling from the sky. Higher the dragons were taking care of the insect soldiers. Soon a moving wall was formed from the dragons and night elves, pressing the Qiraji back towards Ahn’Qiraj.
The tide had turned near the city gates. The combined forces could barely hold the line. They knew it will be impossible to push further. Arygos, Caelestrasz, and Merithra did however opt to push into the city, with a focus of holding Qiraji back until Fandral, Anachronous, as well as the other priestesses and druids could produce a magical barrier…… Read more of the WoW Books and enjoy there story on our site.
On the lower steps Shiromar took a deep breath. She began the climb to the peak hesitating just for a split second. Then having a mighty swing she obliterated the scepter to the ancient gong…..
