I’ve listened to quite a few terrific sounding 2.1 systems. I know what I like and have definite thoughts as to what speakers should sound like. They make some of the best computer speakers, keyboards, game controllers, mice, webcams, MP3 players and the best 20 dollar mice you can get.

The Logitech Z-5500 THX-Certified 5.1 Digital Surround Sound Speaker System  will turn your Computer into a home theater system with 5 speakers and a woofer at 505 watts of overall power. You can hook this up to a laptop or computer, DVD player, Television, MP3 player, or games console and it will sound outstanding. The Z-5500 will not distort when you turn it up. This system has a very high volume level and bass control. The high-clarity THX-certified sound stays clear when you turn on the power. I’ve absolutely have a liking for Logitech speakers and this set make a fantastic sound.

If you prefer Logitech personal computer equipment and require a 5.1 system you must have a look at the Logitech X-540. This is a step more inexpensive from the 5500 yet they are still terrific personal computer speakers. This X-530  is a  great system if you just would like to start out simple and easy on the pocket the X-530 may be the perfect personal computer sound system for you.

I do not suggest buying the Logitech S220. They have some encouraging evaluations on Amazon although I don’t endorse them. To me they sound sort of pointless when the sound level is turned up. They sound pretty good as long as the volume level is not turned up too high. What good is a set of speakers you can not crank then?

If you are in the market for the top computer speakers at about 50 dollars I suggest the Cyber Acoustics CA-3602 2.1 system. The only cheap thing about this set is the cost. They don’t sound like a low cost set of speakers. I don’t think there is superior sound in this price range. If you are looking for a place to put your MP3 player and do not want to shell out a large amount of money then this is the system for you mainly because it comes with a MP3 cradle.
